Pad a Girl Child Initiative
Let’s Be Real, Periods Aren’t Cheap. And For Too Many Girls, They’re a Heavy Burden.
Every month, millions of girls in Nigeria face a challenge many of us rarely think twice about menstruation. But for them, it’s not just a health matter. It’s a roadblock.
Some miss school for days. Others use tissue paper, old rags, or nothing at all because they simply can’t afford proper menstrual hygiene products. For many, periods come with shame, stress, and the silent fear of leaks and stains that invite ridicule.
It shouldn’t be this way.
At Karis and Eleos Foundation, we believe periods shouldn’t stop a girl from living, learning, or dreaming.
That’s why we’ve launched the #PadHerFuture Campaign an initiative to support 1,000 schoolgirls in underserved communities across Nigeria with Dignity Kits that include:
- 4 reusable sanitary pads
- A waterproof pouch
- A bar of soap
- Access to a menstrual health workshop that educates, empowers, and breaks the silence around periods
Here’s the goal: Raise ₦9.5 million to reach 1,000 girls.
That’s just ₦9,500 per girl.
With ₦9,500, you’re not just buying pads—you’re helping a girl stay in school, protect her dignity, and walk confidently in her body.
You can give for one girl. Or ten. Or more. Whatever you give, it truly matters.
Because when you change the story for one girl, you start to change the world.
