NBC Empower Her

PROJECT SUMMARY – Still with the desire to see women thrive financially and improve their livelihoods, we are training 1000 women on business skills and practical skills such as Textile design, bead making, Baking, Paint making, Household cleaning product, Wig making and Make up in 8 states in Nigeria. These states are Lagos,Oyo, Edo, Imo, Kano, Abuja, Rivers and Borno. 20% of the women will be empowered with Start up kits.

MFM Sango Otta Program 2022

PROJECT SUMMARY – The Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Regional Headquarters South-
west 6, partnered with Karis and Eleos Hand of Hope foundation on a mega Skill Acquisition and Empowerment Program focused on women and youths. The practical skills selected to be trained are as follows:
● Bag Making
● Shoe Making
● Baking
● Adire (Tye & Dye)
● Recycling.

The topics taken for the business class were as follows:

● Reaching out to new customers
● Bookkeeping
● How to access loans and grants.
● Product and Personal Branding.
Over 309 registered participants were trained across all skills. The impact of this training is to
see a society where economic gains can be visible.

She Trades with Tech Program

PROJECT SUMMARY – After the Covid 19 , leveraging technology has become very important for business growth. Hence, we are enlightening women in various communities in Nigeria on how to project their business leveraging technology. The first training was held in Magboro where about 30 women were trained theoretically and practically on how to use technology to drive business success. She trades with Tech to help women in business learn how to send emails, create invoices, Keep records and the use of social media to cause strategic business growth.

International day of the girl child (2022)

PROJECT SUMMARY – The International day of the girl child is celebrated yearly to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. At Karis and Eleos Foundation, we believe that by educating the girl child, we open her eyes to her significance , and this gives her the push to take her place in society. We celebrated the last International day of the girl child, inviting over 300 girls from different schools in Lagos state to participate. They were taught Capacity building, Leadership, Environmental sustainability, technology , Girl policy and Menstrual hygiene.

Catalyst For Change 2.0

PROJECT SUMMARY –Catalyst For Change 2.0 was themed Urban-to-Rural migration. We rode on the success of the Catalyst for Change 1.0 program and trained another batch of over 5, 000 women in different communities in Lagos state. These communities were Alausa/Agindingbi, Surulere, Ijora, Onigbongbo and Alimosho and its environs. We have successfully completed the Catalyst for Change 2.0 where hundreds of women were trained and 20% of were empowered with start up kits.

Catalyst For Change 1.0

PROJECT SUMMARY – Catalyst For Change 1.0 was a magnificent success as we empowered over 5,000 women directly with business and life skills needed to elevate them from extreme poverty and marginalization. This life-changing program ran for five (5) months at Magboro, Sangotedo, Ogijo, Oworonshoki and Iwaya communities targeting over 15,000 indirect beneficiaries. The project was executed in four (4) phases on the field to increase impact and 1,000 participants were trained in each of the 5 communities monthly.
